The Premise
PyraTex uses cryptex-style communication to unlock a message given a hint or clue to the keyword or phrase. Use an image and insert text to lead your discoverer to the key. By doing so:
- Unlock New Friend Connections or Find a Long Lost First Mate.
- Embark on your Journey By Starting Treasure Hunts in your City;
- Win In App products for completing checkpoints, hunts, or unlocking Admin posted Treasure Chests.

User Discovery
From the discovery screen, search for bottles and treasure chests that are in your area. Respond to Message Bottles and Chests by unlocking comment posting and private messaging once an item is opened.
If a bottle is locked find the keyword to unlock the connection or use a Master Key. Once you unlock a connection you may chat and add the user to your crew.
To make a new discovery search, turn the wheel!

Dead Man
The Dead Man's Chest must be locked. It will remain on the map for 10 years.
I Spy
Use the Spyglass to Search the Globe. Find more bountiful treasure beyond the Horizon.
CREATING A MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE
1. Select a stamp type and Insert Message
This is what the user will unlock and contents they will see. They will be able to message you, comment or Arr!
2. Set the Lock with a Clue or Leave Open
Make the Lock and Key not too hard and not too easy. Use your Image/Text Hint appropriately.
3. Launch Your Bottle
Set your x marks the spot on the map and let it float in the PyraVerse!
THE MARKETPLACE
In the Marketplace you can purchase products that help you in your discovery. Master Keys can be used to unlock Message Bottles, Hunt Checkpoints and Chat Messages. Message Bottles send your message out to world and allow friends to find you. Geo Keys, Attempts and Freeze Times are useful when hunting for treasure.
CREATE A PROFILE
Your profile is a place to tell others about yourself. Enter your Date of Birth (others will only see your age). Tell everyone what you do for work and describe yourself in the about me section. The Bottles Collected value is a running tab of how many message bottles you have discovered. Your Keyscore is how skilled you are at unlocking locked Message Bottles, Chests, Hunt Checkpoints and Chat Messages.
